Being a foster parent…

“Being a foster parent is the hardest thing I have ever done, it involves a collision of your heart, your woundings from childhood, who you are today, and who you want to be. This collision causes tears, pain, hopelessness, and frustration. However, with the right dose of support, prayer, challenges, breaks, and stubbornness, peace, growth, and love are attained. I know that I am a much better person today because of accepting broken kids into my home, they bring out the broken kid in you that is need of healing. Fostering is not for the faint of heart, but is for the faith in the heart.”
